“Shoppin’ Around” is a song recorded by Elvis Presley in 1960. The song was written by Luther Dixon and Beverly Ross and was released as a single by RCA Victor Records.

The song features a rock and roll beat and upbeat lyrics about a man who is “shoppin’ around” for love. Presley’s signature vocals and energetic performance helped make the song a minor hit, reaching number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“Shoppin’ Around” was one of several songs recorded by Presley during a prolific period in the late 1950s and early 1960s. During this time, he released numerous hit singles and starred in several successful movies, including “G.I. Blues” and “Blue Hawaii.”

Despite its moderate success, “Shoppin’ Around” is not as well-known as some of Presley’s other hits from this period, such as “Suspicious Minds” and “Jailhouse Rock.” However, it remains a popular song among fans of early rock and roll and is considered a classic example of the genre.

In addition to its original release on single, “Shoppin’ Around” has also been included on several Elvis Presley compilation albums over the years, ensuring its place in the singer’s musical legacy.
