. I saw them at The Bangor auditorium in Bangor,Me. in 1956. I believe that they were the first live group that I had seen also. Fats Domino, Bill Haley and several other groups were there also.

Thank you for bringing back memories that were so special to me. Memories dear to all of us in that era. Those were wonderful years to be a teenager. Life was not so hectic and fast paced as it is for today’s teenagers.

That song certainly does bring back memories of my teenage years When I was 12 years of age my Aunt Peggy taught me to ballroom dance. Just wish to share and not bragging I won forty dance contests with a few ,different partners . Thanks Nethugs for sharing this with us. May GODS Angels continue to watch over all of you forever, is my prayer.

When I take time to go back to these old songs my heart gets lost in the ways and times of the fifties…Then I look around me today and ask myself the world we live in today is worth what we lost of yesteryear…I’m afraid we lost….

WOW! How well do I remember those years for I was a part of that era. As Lillie,of the Billy &Lillie duo, whose hits were Lah Dee Dah” and “Lucky Ladybug” I truly have so many memories of those years. Many of those that were popular artists during that time are no longer in the land of the living. I thank GOD that I’m still here and that I can still remember. Evidently, I truly am a “LUCKY LADYBUG!” Peace!
