Praise God indeed, for His wonderful work for mankind! If only some people take notice of the beautiful world around us. God is the ONLY provider of all such beauty.
Lovely music too!! Greatly appreciated.
Mary Ferris… We were very poor and never knew it… We appreciated every morsel of food and hand me down
clothes and going to church… In spite of this, we had fun and were glad for every good thing, including
laughs… Praise GOD !!!
I lived that life; looking at the rear of a team of mules all day; hard work never really done; long hours; years work wiped out due to weather or falling prices. You can have it!
VERY TOUCHING, BRINGS BACK MEMORIES OF LONG AGO.DEBRA HAS IT CORRECT. FAITH, FAMILY AND FRIENDS. FAITH FOR THINGS WE NEEDED AND SOMEHOW RECEIVED. FAMILY THAT SHARED TOGETHER THOSE THINGS THAT MEANT THE MOST. FRIENDS THAT THAT WERE RELIABLE. LAST BUT NOT FORGOTTEN, FAMILY’S THAT OVERCAME THE STUMBLING BLOCKS IN THEIR LIVES AND STAYED TOGETHER AND ENJOYED LIFE. THIS WAS TRULY GOOD ” O ” COUNTRY LIVEN.
Thank you, Elizabeth M. Wright for sharing your thoughts! I agree with what you wrote and even though I have lived in Central Texas, 30 years now, I was born and raised in New England, Northern Vermont and always loved to walk in Nature because it is, indeed, our most blessed gift from Our Lord! My late Mom would, as well, place all the little dandelions I would bring her in a little vase, with a big smile on her face that I still remember to this day. Faith, family and friends, as well as Nature and love from our pets are all our everlasting gifts from God. God Bless you and yours! 🙂
Mary Ferris… I say this more often than I realize that “we were poor, but didn’t know it.” Happiness was
finding a dandelion and giving it to my mother who put it in a vase to enjoy, etc. things like that.
I am better off now financially, but I will always enjoy the simple things in life and the beauty that GOD
has given me… Faith, family, & friends… I live on a farm now and am enjoying nature even more…
GOD BLESS…

I enjoyed that very much the beautiful pictures of GODS nature and the fact that this man’s son found that we are very poor without GOD in our lives.
