Tenderly my friend –
that’s how it will be,
this relationship of ours –
between you and me.

this shoulder of mine,
in case you have need of it –
it is here all the time.

kind words to you for sure,
because that’s how friendships last,
and forever endure.
Tenderly I will cherish –
your words in my heart,
to listen to your pain –
from beginning to start.

God’s grace from above,
to embraces us as friends –
committed to His love.
Tenderly I will seek –
the beautiful things in life,
and give them all to you –
to remove all your strife.
Tenderly I will keep –
every feeling that you share,
so you will know for certain –
I am a friend who really cares!

Most beautiful friend, forever friend and Sister,
Beautiful is the word for this lovely sentiment. You are so special to me and always will be. i cannot begin to tell you how much your friendship and your love of our Lord means to me. It is too special to have words to speak of it. I can only say May God truly bless you every day and hold you in His heart always.

Then what is mature love?
It is when we understand and acknowledge the person we love and care for as a separate, unique human being who has his own needs, desires and directions in life. We love our loved ones simply because they are as and who they are because we admire and respect them, and we give them the same freedom that we give ourselves. This is known as unconditional love. It doesn’t place conditions of being loved on the other person. If we are actually grown up and mature in love, we will behave the same when our partner goes with somebody else or leaves us. Although accepting this fact is difficult, but not a heartbreak, a depression or grief.
Love between any relationships will prolong only when the people are matured enough and forgive each other for any mistakes. Problem arises only when the expectation increases. It is not at all better to expect too much from others. When you expect something from your relative and they do not get the expectation satisfied you will get disappointment and this will create a bad impression about that person in your heart. Therefore, do not expect anything from your loved ones. On the other hand, show your unconditional love, this will be of great use to maintain your relationship for life long.

I received this at a time of great turmoil in my life. Things were coming at me from many directions at a time. A wonderful friend sent it who is very dear to me and who I know shares a lot of my sentiments. This is so special to me because of who she is and because of what it expresses.
