Jim
Jim Reeves, absolutely the best! Gone too early. But with my CDs I can just sit back and savor that beautiful voice. I love it when a video is included with some of the oldies.

There has only been one who has such a magic and moving voice like Jim Reeves. My husband personally knew him and worked with him before he became a recording artist and at that time would sit and listen to him sing after hours so when I met my husband he introduced me to his music and we played his music all the time and now I listen to his records, tapes and CD’s and it brings back memories galore and reminds me of when my husband and I would just sit and listen to his music but now my husband is in Heaven listening to Jim up there.

MY HUSBAND INTRODUCED ME TO JIM REEVES MAGICAL VOICE BACK WHEN WE BOTH WERE QUITE YOUNG AND I NOW HAVE REACHED THE AGE OF 88 AND STILL LISTENING TO HIS FANTASTIC VOICE TO THIS DAY. THE MEMORIES HE LEFT TO SO MANY ARE PRICELESS, I HAVE SINCE LOST MY HUSBAND, THE LOVE
OF MY LIFE AND I SO OFTEN ASSOCIATE THAT VOICE WITH ALL THE GOOD TIMES HE AND I SHARED TOGETHER AS MAN AND WIFE. MY GROWN SON HAS ALSO CARRIED ON THE MUSIC OF JIM REEVES , ONE OF HIS FAVORITE COUNTRY SINGERS I AM HAPPY TO SAY.

OH YES, Memories Galore, Jim Reeves was a personal friend of my deceased husband and when I met my husband in 1956 and learned of this we played his music all the time when we were together and after we married in 1957. It’s a true tragedy that he got killed in a plane crash at such a young age. But now he is singing with the angels in heaven and my husband is enjoy his company again.

What a beautiful voice this man had. Jim Ed Brown was a good friend of his and had a similar voice and could sing most of his songs. Jim Reeves has been missed for many long years. His songs really do bring back some nice memories.

I’m almost 83, so, I remember this song well….one of my favorites…. wish there were more singers like him. I miss the old country…..do get to hear some when I go dancing at the Eagles on Fri. nights. They still have some great country bands….live music.
