The one and only Mr. Jim Reeves. Loved that soothing voice still today. Wonderful way to start my day.

I Wrote a novel called “A Breath Away – Life’s Final Chapter”, Which is about two individuals who are best described by this song, as sung by Jim Reeves. Their love lasted over a half century, and they had trials and challenges continually, but their love never wavered. If you get a chance to read the novel, there is a poem on page 14 called “One” I think you will enjoy. I wish there were more people today that loved as they did. J Judson Lacko

Jim Reeves singing this song reminds me of family. My dad also loved to sing “I Love You Because” and could sing it lovingly to us.
