I heard the whisper of the trees
And a tear slipped from my eye
For your voice came into my heart,
Why did I start to cry?
I felt the touch of raindrops splash
So soft upon my skin
Remembering the glorious day
That my heart had let you in.
Time has passed for many years
Each second seems so long
And now each time I think of you
I hear our loving song.
I think about the whispered words
And with each thought I find
Although the years have passed away
I still have you on my mind.

It’s so painful losing a loved one! However, it’s such a blessing to have cherished memories to comfort you after so many good years together.

It reminds me of my late hussy who passed on eleven years ago. God rest him and bless the author.

This painting reminds me of a pond I’ve visited here in The Woodlands. The pond is my choice for a cover on my Facebook album.

I heard the whisper of an Angel…
He is sending by God’s love
To stand on faith…with our friends,
And never let them alone…

It is nearly impossible to forget a person you adored, for that person lives within your heart and soul eternally. When you have waited a reasonable amount of time, they do not return, you rebuild your life, although that person shall always hold special meaning. People change in their choices and perhaps the memories of what you may have shared, no longer exist in the present. I think we all enjoy fantasizing, idealizing the best experiences of a relationship in our lives we valued, from a distance past. At some point we must take hold and be realistic for your own sake, before we wind up truly hurting ourselves. Love hurts, no doubt. Let’s face it, if a person is in love with you, they can’t and won’t live without you. they change their life for you and do whatever it takes to be with you. There would never be distance. You would be together living life and enriching one another.
