As I was leaving the Farmer’s Market after buying some goodies, I was trying to juggle two bags, a pumpkin pie a pound of candy, some ring bologna, sticky with pecans. Each 2as in their own bag so I also tried to juggle, my purse and retrieve some money for the Salvation Army who was at the exit/entrance. I also had my cane in my hands and was trying to hold onto a latte, too. It was a pouring down rainy day and when I got home my husband asked me where my cane was. But I know I had the cane as I was going out the door. I do not remember asking the young salvation army volunteer to hold my cane while giving him the money I had gotten out for the charity. But from the entrance/exit to my car the cane was gone. However, I told myself someone needed it more than I. I had knee surgery, a replaced knee. It is mysterious where the cane disappeared to. But I did leave my phone number with the charity in case the volunteer found it. I miss the cane, I did not depend on the cane as a lifeline.
